Sports Days

2022

We could finally get back to holding our 'traditional' Sports Day within school! On 15th July 2022, the whole school worked in their colour teams on different challenges linked to theme of The Commonwealth Games!

After a short break, all children then took part in traditional running races and relay races.

Parents were invited to come and watch all the events!

2021

Due to Covid.19 restrictions, our Sports Days took place on the following days:

Monday 28th June - Key Stage 2: Rowan and Oak

Tuesday 29th June - Key Stage 1: Birch and Hazel

Thursday 1st July - Early Years Foundation Stage: Acorn and Chestnut

Each class was split into their Colour Teams to compete in different activities and races.

As this year was the Olympic Games year, our Sports Day activities were themed around the Olympic Values:

After the activities, each class, still in their Colour Teams, took part in running races. Some classes also took part in relay races.

The Colour Teams competed to decide who won which of the following cups:

As we couldn't welcome visitors onto our school site, due to Covid.19 restrictions, we attached a photo gallery for each Sports Day below so that parents and carers could still see what took place during each of the days :-).
