Our Growth Mindset Learning Power Superheroes

At St. Mary's, we teach our children the importance of having a Growth Mindset.  

Mindset is all about our attitudes - how we think and feel, rather than what we can or cannot do. 

As we grow up, it can be harder for us to try new things and stay positive if we make mistakes.  

That's why it's important that we all adopt a Growth Mindset - knowing that if we have a positive attitude and keeping trying, even when things are tricky, we can achieve anything!

Nothing is impossible.  The word itself says 'I'm possible!'

To help us adopt a Growth Mindset, we have created 8 Learning Power Superheroes.  We use our Superheros to remind us how to have a Growth Mindset and we are Commended each week in our weekly Commendations Worship assembly when we display any of the same Learning Powers as our Superheros!
