FOSM (Friend's of St. Mary's)
All parents automatically become members of the association when their child starts school.
The association plays an active part in promoting links between home and school, through the staging of a wide range of events throughout the year.
The aim of these events is two-fold; firstly these events contribute to the funds of FOSM and secondly they provide an opportunity for parents, children and teachers to come together in an informal environment and have some fun.
Funds raised are used to provide extras for the school, which provide an enhanced quality of life for the children.
How can I support FOSM to raise funds for the school?
Firstly you can watch the video in the section below to see the types of fundraising activities FOSM do.
Please then visit the section below, "How can I get involved with FOSM?"
At any time, people can also donate to FOSM's Just Giving Page, which can be accessed here:
https://justgiving.com/fosmclophill
You can also add to FOSM's funds by shopping online through Easy Fundraising. Please see the bottom of the page for more information!
What have FOSM funds been used for?
For more information about the activities FOSM run and how their funds have been used, please watch the short video below:
Most recently, FOSM funds have been used to purchase shelving and soft furnishings in our Cedar room, new play equipment for lunchtime play as well as a brand new fort on the back field. This year FOSM are raising funds to support work being completed in the Reception outside area (see plans below).
All of these wonderful things are made possible by the school and FOSM working together to raise funds and provide manpower to complete these substantial projects.
How can I get involved in FOSM?
FOSM's Annual General Meeting is held in the Autumn Term and everyone is invited to attend.
