British Science Week

Each year, the British Science Association runs a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths called British Science Week. People from all over the UK take part in events and activities to develop their skills in these areas.

In 2021, British Science Week will take place from the 5th to the 14th March.  The theme of this year's British Science Week is, ‘Innovating for the Future’.

The aim for British Science Week is to promote the subject of Science and smash Science stereotypes too!

We will celebrate the start of British Science Week with a Science Day on Friday 5th March, where we ask children to choose activities from the relevant grid below to complete and bring in on Monday 8th March to share with their teacher and class. 

We will then continue to celebrate British Science Week from 8th-12th of March in school. 

As part of British Science Week, there is a fantastic poster competition that everyone can join in with. Rowan class are taking part and Miss Clements will be selecting entries to submit, however parents are also able to submit their children's posters from home too!
